For the Waldorf salad, first peel the celery and grate it very finely raw. Core the apples and grate them as well.

Mix mayonnaise with lemon juice, whipped cream, nuts, apples and celery.

Cover the bottom of a bowl with pineapple. Spread half of the lettuce evenly on top, then layer pineapple cubes again, and finally top with the remaining lettuce.

Decorate the Waldorf salad with pineapple cubes, walnuts and lettuce.

Preparation Tip:

The Waldorf salad tastes even better if it is allowed to soak for one night.
