Instructions:

For sweet snails, knead curd cheese, flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, egg yolks, oil and milk into a smooth dough and then roll out into a rectangle.

For the filling, mix all the ingredients together.

Brush the rolled out rectangle with egg white (this makes the filling adhere better) and sprinkle with the filling. Press the filling lightly and form into a roll. Then cut off approx. 2 cm pieces and place on baking tray covered with baking paper. Flatten the pieces to form a snail shape.

Bake in the oven at 180° C for about 20 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

You can also coat sweet snails with a sugar glaze. (1 egg white, 15 dag powdered sugar and a few drops of rum or lemon juice).
