For the charcoal stew, remove the outer leaves from the cabbage head. Wash the remaining cabbage leaves, cut into noodles and blanch briefly.

Dice onion and bacon, cut garlic into leaves. Peel and quarter the potatoes.

Fry onion, bacon and garlic briefly in oil and dust with flour. Add water and season with bouillon cubes, mayoran and caraway seeds.
