For the poppy seed mousse, soak the gelatine in cold water. Melt the chocolate in a water bath, beat 2 egg whites until stiff.

Whip the cream and mix the egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Stir the melted chocolate into the egg yolk sugar mixture.

Stir in whipped cream, poppy seeds and egg whites.

Heat the gelatin, mix with a little mousse, then quickly stir into the whole mixture.

Chill in the refrigerator. Cut out dumplings from the poppy seed mousse, arrange and serve.
