Instructions:

To make the nut cookies, place the egg whites in a bowl and beat with a pinch of salt until semi-solid. Add half of the sugar and vanilla sugar, continue beating, then add the remaining sugar and beat until really firm. Fold in the grated nuts loosely.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Fill the mixture into a piping bag with a not-too-small nozzle (attachment) and pipe onto the baking sheet in the form of small bushels. (Or form them with the help of two coffee spoons).

Do not place the biscuits too close together, as they will spread slightly during baking.

Put the nut buns into the hot oven and bake at approx. 150-160 °C for approx. 20-25 minutes (under observation).

Preparation Tip:

The nut bites can also be placed on wafers and decorated with a hazelnut or walnut half each before baking.
