Instructions:

For the marble cake, cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt, gradually add the eggs and mix until fluffy.

Mix flour, cornstarch and baking powder and stir in with the milk. Use only enough milk so that the dough falls from the spoon with difficulty tearing.

Grease jars with butter, leaving 1 cm of the top edge free of grease. Fill each jar halfway. Divide 2/3 of the batter among the glasses, mix the remaining batter with cocoa, milk, sugar and rum. Spread the dark batter on top of the light batter and use a fork to spiral through the light and dark batter layers.

Place the jars on the rack in the oven and bake.

After baking, immediately seal with preserving ring, glass lid and spring clip.
