For the It’s a Girl cake, first prepare the chocolate cake.

For the chocolate cake, beat butter and sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add eggs a little at a time and continue to beat. Add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and whipped cream and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan and bake for about 55 minutes at 170 degrees. For the sponge cake, beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and salt until foamy.

Mix the flour and baking powder and gently fold in. Pour the batter into a springform pan of the same size and bake for about 35-40 minutes at 170 degrees.

For the chocolate cream, cream the melted, cooled chocolate with sugar and butter until fluffy.

For the butter cream, boil the vanilla pudding with 250 ml milk and let it cool. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and gradually stir in the butter.

Fill the chocolate cake with chocolate cream and spread it on the edge. Fill the sponge cake with vanilla cream and brush the edge as well.

For the frosting, mix egg whites with powdered sugar and food coloring and pour the frosting over the cake.

Sprinkle hair with the chestnut rice. Form a disk with some chestnut rice, cut it in half and color the edge with chocolate icing.

For the nose, dip two balls of chestnut rice in icing and stick a pacifier in the cake.

The It’s a Girl cake is ready.

Preparation Tip:

Instead of the It's a Girl cake, you can decorate the cake with blue icing for an It's a Boy cake. Instead of the chestnut rice, you can also try making the hair with marzipan.
