For the curd fruit casserole, beat butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and yolks until fluffy. Add the pudding powder and baking powder alternately and mix in the curd.

Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Line a baking dish with puff pastry, put 3/4 of the dough on top. Now spread the fruit (cut into small pieces) on top and cover with the remaining 1/4 of the dough.

Preheat the oven and bake at 200 degrees on the middle shelf for about 40 minutes. (The casserole should have a nice brown color).

Turn off the oven, open the door a crack and let the curd-fruit casserole cool a bit.

Preparation Tip:

If you use frozen fruits, they should be thawed and the juice removed. The curd fruit casserole succeeds with all fruits, it is best to simply use your favorite fruits.
