Instructions:

A simple but delicious buttermilk pie recipe.

Put the flour, salt and sugar in a baking bowl. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and add. Quickly rub everything between your fingers to form a crumbly mixture. Add tap water, knead the dough quickly until it holds together. Then refrigerate.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, place it in the baking pan lined with parchment paper and shape the edge, pressing it down neatly. Bake blind in a 200° C oven for 15 minutes.

Finely chop almond kernels and mix neatly with eggs, butter, sugar, buttermilk, lemon zest, vanilla sugar and custard powder. Pour onto the pastry base. Bake in a 180° C oven for 60 minutes. Let the buttermilk pie cool before eating.
