This appetizer goes well with many main dishes.
Preheat the oven to 220 °C. Grease a 24 cm frying pan. Spread 1/ 3 of the potatoes in a circle like a roof tile. Drizzle a third of the butter over them. Season. Repeat all together two more times. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the cover, smooth with a spatula and bake for another 20 min. Turn out onto a serving platter, cut into (pie) pieces and bring to the table hot.
