For the coconut biscuits, beat eggs in a bowl. Add sugar and mix well until homogeneous. Add shredded coconut and butter and mix again. Finally, stir in flour and starch.
Preheat the oven to 170°C top/bottom heat. Spoon the biscuit mixture onto the wafers. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving a gap of about 1 cm.
Place in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes. When the edges are lightly browned, remove the coconut buns and take them off the baking tray immediately.
