For the microwave bread dumplings, peel and finely chop the onion. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent.
Mix the bread cubes with the eggs, milk, fried onions and chopped parsley. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.
Form dumplings of the same size from the bread mixture and place them in a microwave-safe container.
Add a little water so that only the bottom of the container is slightly covered and microwave for about 4 minutes (depending on wattage).
