Carefully clean the elderberry flowers and steep them in 500 ml of boiling water for at least 30 minutes (1 hour is better).
Dissolve sugar and citric acid in a little hot water.
Strain the prepared elderberry water, mix it with the sugar-lemon water and the remaining 1 1/2 liters of cold water.
Pour the juice into well-sealed bottles and store in a dark, cool place.
Preparation Tip:
Instead of 1 1/2 liters of water (see preparation step 3), mineral water or sparkling wine can also be used.
